The MOD Loch Goil and MOD Loch Fyne sea ranges are situated in the Firth of Clyde area in the west of Scotland.

The geographical features of Loch Goil make it an ideal environment for acoustic trials. The range is in nominal water depth of 80 metres. The range at Loch Fyne is in nominal water depth of 140m and primarily used for underway ranging of surface vessels. Grove Point is located in nominal water depth of 22 metres, and used for underway ranging of surface vessels.
